Spotlight: Parisian Flea Market

It’s not glamorous or by any means your usual Paris shopping hot spot, but the Porte De Vanves flea markets are a vintage lovers haven! I came across this gorgeous Parisian lady and found this Christian Dior card holder for 15€!

Magazines from the 20s, antique door handles and vintage prints are just some of the diamonds you will find in this rougher end of Paris. So to make sure you get the most out of your visit, here are my tips to conquering these markets!

  • These weekend street markets start early and finish at lunchtime, so get there early.
  • I’m going to be honest, it’s not somewhere you want to stop and have lunch. Jump on the metro, get straight to the markets check out everything and then head on out of there.
  • If you can’t speak French be prepare to miss out on bargains, BUT you can try not saying anything at all and they may just bring down the price as you umm and ahh.
